Warm and light

DPP07DA0404002628 – Warm and light (Egretta garzetta) – (Canon EOS 7D, Canon 400mm f/5.6 L, 1/1000 s, f/5.6, ISO800, tripode)
After a long silence, I am back! Unfortunately, my job took a large part of my life over the last month, and I decided to dedicate my spare time to my little son. So, here I am. About one month ago, I had some fun with my camera and, thank to my friend/colleague Franco, I discovered a very nice place with few hundreds of little egrets (Egretta garzetta), along with some other species. The warm sunset atmosphere allowed me to made some of my best shots. However, during this photo-tour I definitely understood that length is pretty important for a nature photographer, that is to say a 600 or a 800mm lens would have been better.
